Sherief is a Managing Director with Novantas in the New York office and is the head of Novantas’ Retail Banking practice. He has been a consultant to financial institutions for fifteen years. He has served leading financial institutions in North America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East across every financial services line of business, with particular emphasis in consumer banking, small business banking, brokerage, and investments. Sherief focuses on business strategy development, product development, analytic pricing and data-driven marketing. Prior to Novantas he was a Senior Consultant with First Manhattan Consulting Group.
Sherief is a well-regarded player in the field of retail banking. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, including the Bank Administration Institute, American Bankers Association, Consumer Bankers Association, and American Banker conferences. Sherief is also a frequent writer on topics such as segmentation, pricing, and product development and has been published in American Banker, Banking Strategies, Commercial Lending Review, and Small Business Banker, among other publications.
Sherief received his AB in economics from Harvard University and his MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management.
