A nineteen year industry veteran, Fred Melgaard is an expert in loss mitigation, default management, loan servicing, foreclosure, REO management and property disposition. He has extensive experience with mortgage technology systems pertaining to servicing.
Melgaard joined DRI in 2008 as executive vice president of DRI Management Systems. He has been charged with optimizing DRI’s growth trajectory, managing major client relationships, marketing and corporate strategy.
Prior to joining DRI and over the course of nine years, Melgaard held various executive positions at Harland Financial Solutions, including vice president of Servicing Products and Customer Experience. Previously, he spent six years in senior management positions at several technology firms, including MidCom Communications, Physician Micro Systems and MaestroSoft, where he served as president and CEO. Melgaard gained experience in loan servicing, foreclosure, REO management and property disposition at Great Western Bank, where he began his career.
